Shady Rest Campground is a family-owned private property that offers camping once a year during
the Oregon Country Fair. The rest of the year, it is our personal home.
We are a temporary campground- not a festival & we are not the OCF.
We offer live music and fun for the entertainment and enjoyment of our campers.
Please note that due to the temporary nature of this event and permit limitations,
Infrastructure and services are limited in some aspects.
Shady Rest Campground is located at 24441 Suttle Rd, Veneta, OR 97437. Directly across the street from the Oregon Country Fair.
Shady Rest comes alive the second weekend of July during Oregon Country Fair. Gates open on July 10th and stay open till July 14th. Everyone is asked to leave the site no later than 3 pm on the 14th.
The Shady Rest Family goes beyond those operating this camp since 1996. Shady is a team of family members, close friends, long-time attendees, and visionaries. This year, Shady is teaming up with Objective Collective, our entertainment leads, Ethos Audio for audio operation, SwanQi Designs and EG Sound & Lighting for stage design, Frick Frack Blackjack for shenanigans, and an endless list of music producers, vendors, and live artists.
