RV Information
- 01Shady Rest Campground is a family-owned private property that opens once a year for camping during the Oregon Country Fair. The rest of the year, this land is simply our home 🏡 During campout, we offer live music, good vibes, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our campers to create and connect. Because this is a short-term, permitted event, some infrastructure and services are limited. We do our best with what we have—think rustic charm over luxury—and encourage everyone to plan accordingly. ✨ Come prepared, come flexible, and come ready to have a great time!
- 02Nope! Shady Rest Campground is a campground, not a festival. We host campers and day trippers attending the Oregon Country Fair and offer a mini festival–style experience each year just for our wonderful campers—think live music, good vibes, and community fun. But to be clear: we are not the Oregon Country Fair and we are not a standalone festival.

- 07No. Please be respectful of your neighbors. Quiet hours start at 11:00 PM, and we ask that all music be kept at a considerate volume. Save the all-night parties for headphones or designated zones (if applicable).
- 08Moink’s Marsh is Shady Rest Campground’s sister sanctuary right next door. Campers who make their home in the Marsh are welcome to wander freely into Shady Rest to enjoy all activities and offerings — and Shady Rest campers are invited to explore Moink’s Marsh in return. One shared village, two beloved spaces, no extra cost.
- 09No. Camping passes do not include admission to Oregon Country Fair. We are a private property that offers camping for fair attendees—think of us like a hotel for the main event. You’ll need to purchase your fair tickets separately for any day(s) you'd like to attend OCF.
